Background

I'm an only child to Kenneth and Deborah Miller, I was born on June 22, 1990. I have lived in Houston all of my life, I have not moved to much in my life. Since I am an only child, ever since I was a little kid, I have been bugging my parents about getting a dog. When I was 10 years old, that wish was granted. I named him Oliver because, at the time, I was really obsessed with the Disney animated movie "Oliver and Company". I loved him so much, I loved him like a brother. Up until the day he died, he acted like a puppy, he was my little Marley (from the book and movie called "Marley and Me"). Putting him down was the most horrible experience I ever had to deal with. I know he is in a better place, he was really suffering. On June 4, 2009, I graduated form Alief Elsik High School with Cum Laude honors. On October 9, 2009, I started going to college at The Atr Institute of Houston. I'm currently still at the Art Institute of Houston, working my bachelors degree in Graphic Design. I'm going to graduate in March of 2013.

Extra

What I want to do after I graduate from The Art Institute of Houston is to make movie posters. Making movie posters come so easy to me because I want the viewer to knwo what the movie is about through design, but not give to much away (of course). I don't like how a lot of movie posters are made today because the actors are just slapped onto the poster, the poster should have a design aspect to it, we all know who the actors are. My favorite movie of all time is "Titanic", that whole movie a piece of artwork itself. The actors faces is still on the poster, but it is done a way that makes the viewer wonder. Movies is, and always will be, my passion. What I want to do with graphic design is something movie related, like making movie posters.
